David Moxon is a health psychologist. He is an Associate Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and Head of the Psychology Department at Peterborough Regional College.
He has lectured for over 14 years on a wide variety of psychology and health programmes to both students and professional audiences. He delivers seminars within the UK on a variety of topics and his presentations are lively, informative and well received.
David’s knowledge of psychology is broad ranging; his particular areas of specialism include bio-psychology and behavioural genetics. With these skills he has established Psycho-Biometrics, a service running psycho-biological experiments on behalf of his clients. His M.Sc. was in Health Psychology from University College London.
David is also an accomplished media presenter. He has appeared on BBC1 Breakfast and is regularly interviewed on BBC Radio including BBC Radio 5 Live, Radio 2, and the BBC World Service. He is BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s resident psychologist. Since September 2005 he has participated in over 150 interviews.
He has written three psychology textbooks with Heinemann Publishers on diverse subjects such as memory, human relationships and stress, as well as writing an interactive CD-Rom, acting as a series editor on two projects,and co-authoring an A-level psychology text book.
He has contributed to many national magazine articles on issues relating to both psychology and health as well as being cited for his own research in newspapers, magazines and on-line.
David lives in Cambridgeshire and is warden at his local village church. He is married with twin daughters and has a passion for fast cars. |
